Section 13:69A-9.11 - Fee for casino key employee investigation; resubmission investigation fee(a) In addition to the application fee of $ 750.00 imposed by the Casino Control Commission pursuant to N.J.A.C. 19:41A, the Division shall set an hourly rate for investigative time in connection with the costs it incurs that are directly related to an application for a casino key employee license.(b) The maximum amount to be billed in connection with the investigation of a casino key employee license shall be $ 4,000, plus the costs of any travel or out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the Division that are directly related to the investigation. The maximum fee shall be inclusive of the application fee of $ 750.00 paid to the Commission. For any applicant that is unaffiliated with an Atlantic City casino licensee or racetrack, the applicant shall be responsible for all costs or fees associated with the investigation.(c) If the applicant for a casino key employee license received a temporary casino key employee license at the time of the application, the fee for the application and investigation shall be billed to and paid by the casino licensee that sought the temporary license on behalf of the applicant. If during investigation the applicant separates from employment, the casino licensee shall be responsible for any incurred costs or fees up to the time of separation. If the applicant chooses to proceed with the plenary casino key employee license application, the applicant shall be responsible for any costs or fees incurred moving forward, subject to (b) above.(d) The fee for the resubmission of a casino key employee license shall be limited to the actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the Division, plus the resubmission fee of $ 750.00 charged by the Commission.(e) Each racetrack holding a sports wagering license shall comply with (b) above with respect to all individuals employed in sports wagering operations.N.J.
