Section 13:37-6.5 - Non-delegable nursing tasks(a) If a registered professional nurse determines that delegation of a task is inappropriate, the nurse shall not delegate the task.(b) A registered professional nurse shall not delegate the physical, psychological, and social assessment of the patient, which requires professional nursing judgment, intervention, referral, or modification of care.(c) A registered professional nurse shall not delegate the formulation of the plan of nursing care and evaluation of the effectiveness of the plan.N.J.
