Section 13:35-8.15 - Abandonment; excessive fees(a) It shall be professional misconduct for a licensee to unilaterally terminate without good cause as determined by the Committee, an agreement to deliver service(s) and/or equipment to a customer without first making arrangements for the orderly continuation of said services and/or equipment delivery.(b) It shall be professional misconduct for any licensee to demand or accept excessive fees for service(s) or equipment rendered in connection with the sale or fitting of hearing aids. The excessiveness of such fee shall be determined by the Committee based on whether, after a review of the facts, a reasonable person would be left with a definite and firm conviction that the fee is so high as to be manifestly unconscionable or overreaching under the circumstances and as further described in N.J.A.C. 13:35-6.11(c).N.J.
