Section 13:103-8.17 - Gifts of money from visitors prohibited; money orders(a) Except as provided for in (b) below, no cash, checks, money orders, or other form of money, currency, or payment may be brought into a residential community home by a visitor for a juvenile.(b) Money orders may be brought by visitors for a juvenile, provided that the money order must be surrendered to designated residential community home personnel in exchange for a receipt that identifies the visitor, juvenile, and amount of the money order.(c) Any items brought into a residential community home in violation of this section will be treated as contraband under the provisions of N.J.A.C. 13:103-14.
