Section 13:103-7.46 - Correspondence, legal correspondence, publications, and packages of a juvenile who has escaped(a) All incoming correspondence, legal correspondence, publications, and packages addressed to a juvenile who has escaped from a community program shall be returned to the sender with an indication that the juvenile is no longer in custody.(b) If the incoming mail does not have a return address, it shall be opened to determine the sender. If the sender cannot be identified:1. Correspondence and legal correspondence shall be resealed and returned to the United States Postal Service;2. Publications shall either be destroyed or placed in the library of the community program; and3. Packages shall be destroyed. N.J. Admin. Code § 13:103-7.46
