Section 12:90-8.16 - Re-examination(a) An applicant who has failed an examination may not be re-examined for a period of at least three months, but may be allowed one re-examination without additional charge within six months of the original examination. If again unsuccessful, the applicant may be re-examined within three months. If an applicant does not appear after being called for re-examination a third time, the application shall be canceled.(b) Upon failing the examination for the third time or if an application is canceled, an applicant who wishes to retake the examination shall wait three months before reapplying for examination, at which time a new application form shall be fully completed and submitted to the Bureau with the appropriate fee.N.J.
