Section 10A:72-8.3 - Emergencies
(a) The parole officer shall immediately notify the Central Communications Unit of the New Jersey Department of Corrections if an emergency arises during the transportation of a parolee.
(b) If time or other considerations make it impossible to contact the Central Communications Unit, the local police authorities shall be notified by the parole officer without prior clearance.
