Section 10A:72-13.1 - Parolee contract agreements; eligibility; adult parolees
(a) Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 30:4-123.67, the appropriate Board panel shall enter into a formal contract agreement upon the request of a parolee for a specified reduction in the parole supervision term upon the completion of acceptable designated programs that assist in rehabilitation.
(b) In order to be eligible to enter a parolee contract agreement, the parolee must not be serving a sentence imposed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:43-6.4; a sentence imposed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:43-7.2; a sentence for the offense of murder, aggravated manslaughter, or manslaughter; a sentence of life imprisonment; or a sentence imposed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:47-1 et seq. Further, the parolee must have a minimum of 14 months remaining on the parole supervision term from the date of the first parole office visit.
