Section 10A:21-8.1 - Role of the prosecutor's office

(a) The county prosecutor's office is responsible for prosecuting violations of the criminal statutes. Decisions concerning prosecution are within the purview of that office.

(b) Prosecutors who have questions with respect to this subchapter should contact the Prosecutor's Advisory Unit in the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.
