N.J. Admin. Code § 10:71-7.1

Medicaid Only beneficiaries, like Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries, are eligible to receive services and related service payments for services identified at 10:71-7.2 and for payment of burial and funeral expenses as authorized by 10:71-7.5. Such payments as deemed necessary and appropriate by the county welfare agency shall be paid either directly to the vendor of the service or by a check issued to the eligible person.
