Section Saf-Mec 803.01 - Eligibility Requirements for Certification as a Water Treatment TechnicianThe qualification for certification as a water treatment technician shall be:
(a) Successful completion of a water treatment technician educational program described in Mec 805;(b) Successful completion of the examination as described in Mec 805;(c) Good character and professional competence as evidence by the documents required by Mec 804.03;(d) Having: (1) Worked as a water treatment technician trainee for at least one year and have taken and passed the examination described in Mec 805;(2) Having operated as a water treatment technician for at least one year as a certified water treatment technician in another state; or(3) Having operated as a water treatment technician for at least one year prior to January 1, 2024.N.H.
