Section Saf-C 3221.04 - Bumpers(a) A vehicle shall be rejected if the bumper and its structural components are: (1) Not attached to the front and rear of a passenger or multipurpose vehicle as manufacturer intended;(2) Not attached to the front and rear of a pick-up truck as manufacturer intended;(3) Located at an improper height as measured pursuant to RSA 266:9;(4) Loose or improperly installed; or(5) Rusted or damaged to a degree which does not effectively reduce the transfer of impact when engaged.(b) Any vehicle equipped with a tow trailer hitch shall be rejected if it does not have a solid structural integrity and is not securely mounted to the vehicle frame.N.H.
