Section Saf-C 1609.02 - Storage of Ammonium Nitrate(a) Ammonium nitrate may be stored in the same magazine with blasting agents. Ammonium nitrate and blasting agents may be stored in the same magazine with explosives.(b) When ammonium nitrate is stored in the same magazine with blasting agents, the magazine shall comply with the requirements for the storage of blasting agents.(c) When ammonium nitrate is stored in the same magazine with explosives, the magazine shall comply with the requirements for the storage of explosives.(d) In determining the maximum quantity of explosive materials that may be placed in a magazine, one-half the weight of ammonium nitrate shall be added to the weight of explosive materials.N.H.
