Section Saf-C 1314.07 - Ramps(a) In the event a power lift system is not adequate to load or unload pupils with special needs, a ramp device may be installed.(b) Each ramp shall: (1) Be of sufficient strength and rigidity to support a special device, occupant and any attendant;(2) Be equipped with a protective flange on each side to keep any special device on the ramp;(3) Have a floor made of non-skid construction; and(4) Be of such weight and design, and equipped with handle(s), to permit one person to put the ramp in place and return it to its storage place.N.H.
