Section Saf-C 1309.04 - Wiring(a) All wiring shall comply with the manufacturer's and federal specifications, as of the date of manufacture, and shall be arranged in circuits to properly handle the electrical demand.(b) An identifying diagram for all electrical circuits shall be provided, which shall include color and codes.(c) All wires passing through metal openings shall be protected by an insulating grommet.(d) Wires not enclosed within the school bus body shall be fastened securely at intervals of not more than 18 inches.(e) No exposed wiring shall be allowed in the interior passenger compartment.(f) All connections shall be soldered or joined by equally effective connectors.N.H.
