Section Saf-C 1308.33 - Windshield Wipers and Washers(a) Each school bus shall be equipped with 2 variable speed electric windshield wipers that are in working order. One heavy duty 2 speed electric motor driven windshield wiper shall be provided for each half of the windshield.(b) Each wiper arm and blade shall be a minimum of 14 inches in length, except on a type A school bus, which shall comply with the manufacturer's specifications.(c) Each school bus shall be equipped with a windshield washer that effectively cleans the entire area covered by both windshield wipers.(d) In the event one motor is used, the wipers shall work in tandem to give a full sweep of the windshield.N.H.
