The board of trustees shall, after notice and opportunity for hearing, upon a finding of administrative contempt, misrepresentation of facts or law, or other misconduct such as the repeated failure to meet deadlines, failure to comply with the instructions of the presiding officer, or acting in an abusive, disrespectful or dilatory manner, by any individual relating to representation before the board or its designee at an adjudicative proceeding, prohibit that individual from acting as a representative before the retirement system and the board.
