Section Resp 406.04 - Successful Completion of a College Level Course Relating to Respiratory Care(a) The board shall recognize as continuing professional education the successful completion of a college-level course relating to respiratory care, providing that: (1) The course is given as part of a program or curriculum with the potential to lead to an academic degree higher than that held by the licensee at the time of first eligibility for initial licensure;(2) The course adds to the professional knowledge or skill of the licensee as shown in a written summary of the new information or skill the licensee acquired during the course; and(3) The licensee achieves in the course a letter grade of C or better or a numerical grade of 2.00 or better.(b) The board shall credit a licensee successfully completing a college level course described in (a) above with one contact hour for each course credit awarded by the college or university.N.H.
