Section Puc 203.32 - Briefs(a) Upon the request of a party or on its own motion, the commission shall allow parties to submit briefs at any point in an adjudicative proceeding if the commission determines that such briefing would assist the commission in its determination of the issues presented.(b) The commission shall set any briefing deadline or deadlines so as to permit the parties adequate time to draft their briefs and without causing undue delay in the conclusion of the proceeding.(c) The commission shall establish a briefing schedule that allows one or more parties to submit briefs in rebuttal or reply to the brief or briefs of one or more other parties when such a sequential schedule is necessary to assure due process, fairness or full discussion of the issues presented.(d) The commission shall establish a page limit for briefs when it determines that such a limit would promote the efficient resolution of issues without adversely affecting the rights of any party.(e) The commission shall encourage joint filing of briefs when there is more than one party advocating the same result and the same arguments and individual briefs would be duplicative.N.H.
