Section Pari 803.10 - Duties of the Race Starter and the Assistant Race Starter(a) The starter shall: (1) Inspect the starting box for proper operation and cleanliness;(2) Ensure that the greyhounds are properly muzzled and blanketed;(3) Place the greyhounds in the starting box; and(4) Notify the board if the starting box does not operate properly.(b) The assistant race starter shall assist the race starter.(c) The assistant race starter shall:(1) Rapidly pass along the length of the starting box at the beginning of the race and remove any greyhound remaining in the starting box; and(2) Promptly secure the removed greyhound behind the starting box until the race has been completed.N.H.
