Section Pari 606.01 - Requirements for Stable Names
(a) Any person entering horses to race under a stable name shall submit an application for a stable name license to the commission.
(b) In order to be licensed, a stable name shall be plainly distinguishable from:
(1) All other stable names licensed in this state;
(2) All stable names registered with the USTA; and
(3) Any names of harness horse racing premises within the United States.
(c) No license shall be issued for a stable name which is the same as:
(1) The real name of another owner of horses racing within the state; or
(2) The real or stable name of an individual who has not given permission for the use of the name.
(d) The fee for stable name licenses shall be $40.00per year.
(e) The stable name license shall be valid through December 31 of the year for which the license is issued.
