Section Pari 605.36 - Qualifications for Horse Owner, Owner-Trainer, Owner-Driver or Owner-Trainer-DriverIn addition to the qualifications set forth in Pari 605.35 above, an applicant for an occupational license as an owner, owner-trainer, owner-driver or owner-trainer-driver shall:
(a) Be a member of the USTA;(b) Be recommended for the occupational license by 2 persons whom the applicant has known for at least 2 years and who are not relatives;(c) Have the financial ability to pay all bills arising in this state relative to the care and maintenance of horses that the applicant owns or trains;(d) If an applicant for occupational licensure as an owner-trainer or owner-trainer-driver , have at least 3 months of experience as an assistant trainer; and(e) If an applicant for occupational licensure as an owner-trainer or owner-trainer-driver who intends to train horses for individuals or stables other than him or herself, be recommended for occupational licensure by at least one other owner or stable for whom the applicant will train horses.N.H.
