Section Nur 403.05 - Continuing Education Validation(a) Licensees shall be responsible for maintaining accurate records and upon request shall submit documentation demonstrating compliance with all applicable continuing education requirements.(b) All nurse licensees audited for continuing education shall complete and submit Form "Continuing Education Contact Hour Audit", 1-2014.(c) All nursing assistant licensees audited for continuing education shall complete and submit "Form Licensed Nursing Assistant Continuing Education Audit", 11-2013.(d) At least 45 days prior to the renewal date, every 100th license application shall be selected for a continuing education audit and the licensee shall submit a list of educational offerings, sponsor and hours documenting compliance with continuing education requirements.(e) A renewal under Nur 401 shall not be issued if:(1) The licensee fails to submit documentation upon request before midnight of the renewal date; or(2) Submitted documents fail to meet continuing education requirements.(f) Licensees may request inactive status in lieu of complying with the specific continuing education requirements of Nur 403 applicable to their license.N.H.
