Section Nat 204.02 - Presiding OfficerThe presiding officer shall as necessary:
(a) Regulate and control the course of the hearing;(b) Facilitate settlement of the dispute which is the subject of the hearing;(c) Administer oaths and affirmations;(d)Request the issuance by the board of subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses or the production of papers and records;(e) Receive relevant evidence and exclude irrelevant, immaterial or unduly repetitious evidence;(f) Rule on procedural requests at the request of a party or intervenor or on the presiding officer's own motion;(g) Question anyone who testifies;(h) Cause a complete record of the hearing to be made, as specified in RSA 541-A:31, VII; and(i) Take any other action consistent with applicable statutes, rules and case law necessary to conduct the hearing and complete the record in a fair and timely manner.N.H.
