Section Lot 7005.01 - Bingo Equipment(a) The charitable organization shall: (1) Only use bingo equipment that is free of any defects and functioning in proper working order; and(2) Furnish or operate bingo equipment in such a manner that each player is given an equal opportunity to win.(b) Bingo ball machines and other selection devices, flashboards and other display devices, and other bingo equipment used in the selection and display of game numbers shall be designed to produce randomness.(c) When balls are utilized, the charitable organization shall ensure that the following are true: (1) Any characteristics that control the selection of the balls, such as size, shape, weight and balance, are the same for all balls within a given set;(2) All the balls within a given set are present, clean and free of defects and otherwise in operating condition before being utilized; and(3) Each set of balls in play is distinguishable from all other sets of balls in play.(d) All mechanical ball blowers, which use air flow for mixing and randomly selecting balls, shall be constructed:(1) To allow game participants to view the mixing action of the balls; and(2) To prohibit any interruption of the mixing action of the balls in an effort to alter the selection of the balls, except when the device is shut off.N.H.
