Section Lot 205.01 - When and by Whom Investigations May be Conducted(a) The commission shall conduct an investigation if: (1) Information is received which leads the commission to believe a violation of any statute administered by the commission, or of any commission rule, has occurred or is likely to occur;(2) A complaint against a person or organization under the jurisdiction of the commission has been received; or(3) Additional information relevant to a commission proceeding is required.(b) Pursuant to RSA 284:21-i, I, the commission shall employ technical assistants, as authorized by the governor and council, to act as investigating officers to conduct an investigation and submit an investigation report to the commission for their approval.
