Each applicant for licensure shall provide the board with the names and addresses of not fewer than 5 individuals, not related to the applicant, as references. At least 3 shall be licensed land surveyors having detailed knowledge of the applicant's land surveying experience. The board shall contact any individuals, companies, or institutions whose names appear in any part of the completed application, if information submitted is unclear.
