Section He-P 803.24 - Quality Improvement(a) The nursing home shall establish an interdisciplinary quality improvement committee which: (1) Shall have a minimum of 3 members, including the medical director, an individual representing nursing and an individual representing administration;(2) Shall meet at least quarterly to evaluate quality improvement activities; and(3) Shall make recommendations to the administrator to improve the quality of care.(b) The quality improvement committee shall be responsible for: (1) Determining the information to be monitored;(2) Determining the frequency with which information will be reviewed;(3) Determining the indicators that will apply to the information being monitored;(4) Evaluating the information that is gathered;(5) Determining the action that is necessary to correct identified problems;(6) Recommending corrective actions to the licensee; and(7) Evaluating the effectiveness of the corrective actions and determine additional corrective actions as applicable.N.H.
