Section He-P 4035.17 - Possession, Use, Calibration, and Check of Dose Calibrators(a) For direct measurements performed in accordance with He-P 4035.19, a licensee shall possess and use instrumentation to measure the activity of unsealed byproduct materials before it is administered to each patient or human research subject.(b) A licensee shall calibrate the instrumentation required in He-P 4035.17(a) in accordance with nationally recognized standards or the manufacturer's instructions.(c) A licensee shall retain a record of each instrument calibration for 3 years. The records shall include: (1) The model and serial number of the instrument;(2) The date of the calibration;(3) The results of the calibration; and(4) The name of the individual who performed the calibration.N.H.
