N.H. Admin. Code § He-M 1302.01
The purpose of these rules is to describe the screening process and criteria for determining the appropriateness of admitting or continuing placement of applicants with mental illness or developmental disability to Medicaid certified nursing facilities. Each applicant for admission is screened to confirm mental illness or developmental disability, to determine if the applicant requires nursing facility services, and, if found appropriate for admission, to determine whether the applicant requires specialized services in addition to those typically provided by nursing facilities.
