Beginning with discharges occurring on January 1, 2010, and continuing at least quarterly thereafter, health care facilities shall submit to the department, or its agent, a completed health care data set for all patient discharges. Each health care facility shall also ensure submittal of all health care data processed by any sub-contractor or other third party on its behalf.
