Section Fis 402.07 - Fishways Closed(a) In addition to the restrictions and closures specified in Fis 602.02 the waters surrounding any dam which contains a fishway shall be closed to all fishing as described below: (1) The Merrimack River as follows: a. The Amoskeag Dam in Manchester shall be closed to all fishing from the upstream side of the Amoskeag dam to the upstream side of the Amoskeag bridge and the area between the west bank of the river and the island adjacent to the powerhouse for a distance of 500' downstream from the Amoskeag powerhouse and fishway entrance; andb. The Garvins Falls Dam in Bow shall be closed to all fishing from below the Garvins Falls canal wall, including the fish bypass plunge pool, to a point 300' downstream to the main river;(2) The Nashua River as follows:a. Jackson Mills Dam in Nashua shall be closed to all fishing in the waters between 200 feet above and 200 feet below the dam; andb. Mine Falls Dam in Nashua shall be closed to all fishing in the waters 200 feet below the dam;(3) The Pemigewasset River shall be closed to all fishing as follows: a. From the Ayers Island Dam in Bristol to a point 300 feet downstream delineated by posts set above the high water mark on each bank of the river; andb. The Eastman Falls Dam in Franklin shall be closed to all fishing 150 feet downstream marked with posts on both sides of the river; and(4) The Lamprey River as follows: a. The Wiswall Dam in Durham shall be closed to all fishing in the waters 50 feet above the Wiswall Dam year round and closed to all fishing 200 feet below Wiswall Dam between April 1 and July 31.N.H.
