Section Fam 216.01 - Petitions for Rulemaking(a) Any person may seek the adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule by submitting to the board a petition pursuant to RSA 541-A:4.(b) Each petition for rulemaking shall contain:(1) The name and address of the individual petitioner or, if the request is that of an organization or other entity, the identity of such organization or entity and the name and address of the representative authorized by the entity to file the petition;(2) A statement of the purpose of the petition, whether the adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule;(3) If amendment or adoption of a rule is sought, the text proposed;(4) If amendment or repeal of a rule is sought, identification of the current rule sought to be amended or repealed;(5) Reference to the statutory provision that authorizes or supports the rulemaking petition; and(6) Information or argument useful to the board when deciding whether to begin the rulemaking process.N.H.
