Section Env-Ws 382.05 - Increasing Residual Disinfectant Levels(a) Notwithstanding the MRDLs specified in Env-Ws 317, a system subject to this part may increase the distribution system residual disinfectant levels of chlorine or chloramines, but not chlorine dioxide, to a level and for a time necessary to protect public health and to address specific microbiological contamination problems caused by circumstances which include, but are not limited to, distribution line breaks, storm run-off events, source water contamination events, or cross-connection events.N.H.
