The department shall issue variances and exemptions from the requirements of these drinking water rules pursuant to Env-Ws 342 and Env-Ws 343, as applicable,under conditions and in a manner which are not less stringent than the conditions under which and the manner in which variances and exemptions aregranted by EPA.
