"Total organic carbon (TOC)" means the sum of the concentration in mg/L of all organic carbon, measured using heat, oxygen, ultraviolet irradiation, chemical oxidants, or combinations of these oxidants that convert organic carbon to carbon dioxide, rounded to 2 significant figures.
