Section Env-Ws 302.73 - Specific ultraviolet absorption (SUVA)

"Specific ultraviolet absorption (SUVA)" means an indicator of the humic content of water obtained by dividing a sample's ultraviolet absorption at a wavelength of 254 nm (UV254) by its concentration of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in milligrams per liter (mg/L.)
