Section Env-Ws 301.01 - PurposeThe purpose of the rules in Env-Ws 300 is to:
(a) Protect public health by establishing the requirements applicable to public water systems as defined in RSA 485:1-a, XV; and(b) Ensure that the public water system program implemented by the department is at least as stringent as that established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and regulations adopted pursuant thereto .N.H.
