Section Env-WC 203.06 - Representation and Appearances
(a) Any participant in an appeal before the council may be represented by an attorney licensed to practice law in New Hampshire or such other individual as the participant may designate. This provision shall not be construed to permit the unauthorized practice of law as defined by the New Hampshire supreme court or the New Hampshire general court.
(b) Each participant's representative shall file an appearance with the appeals clerk that identifies the participant being represented and the representative's name, mailing address, and daytime telephone number and, if available, a fax number and e-mail address. If the original notice of appeal was filed by the representative and includes the information specified by this paragraph, a separate appearance shall not be required.
(c) All representatives shall obtain and become familiar with these procedural rules prior to appearing before the council.
(d) For each appeal, the department shall designate a representative for purposes of that appeal. The designated representative shall file an appearance pursuant to (b), above.
(e) Each participant and representative shall update the contact information filed pursuant to this section as necessary to reflect current information.
