Section Env-Dw 405.11 - Acceptable Sources of Water Supply(a) The use of surface water shall not be allowed for any small community water system.(b) A minimum of 2 wells shall be required for the following systems: (1) A community water system where the design flow exceeds 13,500 gpd; and(2) Any NTNC water system whose reliability is directly important to the public health as specified in Env-Dw 405.02(g) and where the residential-equivalent units exceeds 30.(c) If connection to a municipal water system is proposed, the applicant shall submit to the department a letter of confirmation from the supplying water system owner.(d) The letter of confirmation shall state that:(1) Adequate quantities of water are available to serve the proposed water system; and(2) With the proposed water system on-line, adequate system pressures will be maintained.(e) Design criteria for municipal water system piping extensions shall be as specified in Env-Dw 404 .N.H. Admin. Code § Env-Dw 405.11
