Except as otherwise required by these rules, distribution and storage components and all other appurtenances of a PORS serving more than 1,000 people and those providing fire protection by means of street hydrants shall be designed in accordance with the applicable standards specified in Env-Dw 404.01, except that any reference to "public water system" or "water system" shall be deemed to mean "privately owned redistribution system".
