Section Env-A 4602.42 - Excess interim CO[2] emissions

"Excess interim CO₂ emissions" means tons of CO₂ emitted by a CO₂ budget source during an interim control period in excess of the CO₂ budget emissions limitation for the source, multiplied by 0.50.
