Each owner or operator of a wood furniture coating source shall prepare, maintain, and implement a leak inspection and maintenance plan that contains the following:
(a) A minimum visual inspection frequency of once per month for all equipment used to transfer or apply finishing materials or organic solvents;(b) An inspection schedule;(c) Methods for documenting the date and results of each inspection and any repairs that were made and any maintenance that was performed; and(d) The timeframe between identifying a leak and repairing the leak, in accordance with the following schedule:(1) The first repair attempt, such as tightening of packing glands, shall be made no later than 5 working days after the leak is initially detected; and(2) Final repairs shall be made within the following time periods: a. If the leaking equipment is to be replaced by a new purchase, not later than 90 calendar days after initial leak detection; orb. If the leaking equipment is not to be replaced by a new purchase, not later than 15 working days after initial leak detection.N.H. Admin. Code § Env-A 1213.08
