Section Env-A 104.05 - Maximum achievable control technology (MACT)"Maximum achievable control technology (MACT)" means the technology required by amended section 112 of the Act for major sources of listed hazardous air pollutants, reflecting the maximum degree of emissions reductions achievable, taking into account availability, cost, and other factors.
