Section Elec 303.04 - Approval of High/Medium Voltage Electrician
(a) A high/medium voltage electrician license shall be issued when the applicant:
(1) Submits a completed application pursuant to Elec 302.02(f), along with the appropriate fee required by Plc 1002.13;
(2) Meets the qualification requirements of Elec 304.03;
(3) Has no disqualifying felony convictions pursuant to Elec 302.02(f)(7); and
(4) Has not had their electrician's license suspended, revoked, or sanctioned in any jurisdiction pursuant to Elec 302.02(f)(8).
(b) For the purposes of (a)(3) above, a felony conviction shall be considered disqualifying if one of the following applies:
(1) The conviction involves theft, forgery, fraud, or other purpose to deprive the property of another;
(2) The conviction involves perjury, unsworn falsification, or other falsification of official matters; or
(3) The conviction has a direct bearing on the applicant's ability to be licensed as an electrician.
(c) An applicant who has been denied a high/medium voltage electrician license shall be provided an opportunity for an administrative hearing before the board in accordance with the requirements Plc 200.
(d) The initial fee for a high/medium voltage electrician license shall be as required by Plc 1002.13.
