"Archaeology" means the systematic study of materials that have been made or altered by humans.The purpose is to gain an understanding of the entire time frame, events, and process of the human past.? It involves the use of methods, techniques, and theory for locating, identifying, recovering, analyzing, and interpreting such materials and their temporal, spatial, and contextual relationships.
