Section Ch 402.09 - Denial of Application for Licensure Renewal(a) An application for renewal of licensure shall be denied when a partial or complete application packet is received in the board's office after the next-to-last working day of June of the renewal year.(b) An application for renewal of licensure shall be denied if, upon investigation, there is clear evidence that: (1) The continuing education requirements have not been met;(2) Information on the renewal application or its associated documents is false, inaccurate or misleading; or(3) The renewal applicant cannot be relied upon to practice competently and safely because of: a. Physical or mental disability or other condition or disability;b. Use of alcohol or controlled or non-controlled drugs;c. Reasons revealed in the course of disciplinary action taken against the applicant by a licensing body or a professional society or association;d. Reasons revealed by conviction of a felony or misdemeanor; ore. Misconduct done during any preceding period of licensure in any jurisdiction.(c) The board shall make any investigations required to determine whether there are reasons for denial of the application for licensure renewal.N.H.
