Section Box 702.01 - Amateur Mixed Martial Arts(a) All amateur mixed martial arts competitions shall be conducted in compliance with Box 701 with the following amendments:(1) Fighters shall wear shin pads and instep pads of good quality acceptable to the commission;(2) Elbow strikes shall be prohibited;(3) Knee strikes to an opponent's head shall be prohibited; and(4) All fights shall be 3 rounds of 3 minutes each, with a one minute rest period in between rounds.N.H.
