"Apprentice" means any person employed under an apprenticeship program registered with any state apprenticeship agency which is recognized by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT), Employment and Training, U.S. Department of Labor or registered with BAT itself and individually registered with the state apprenticeship council or BAT.
