Section 705.015 - Authority of Commission to enforce safety regulations and orders

The Commission may, as set forth in 49 U.S.C. § 20113, bring a civil action in a district court of the United States to enjoin a violation of a railroad safety regulation or order or to impose and collect a civil penalty for the violation of a railroad safety regulation or order if the Secretary of Transportation fails to do so.
